“Holy, Holy, Holy” UMH 64
Prayer of confession
Merciful One, we are not what we wish we were; we are often only what we desire. We are love, when we love one another. We are strife, when we judge the other as less worthy than ourselves. We are how we consider the other. Help us, O God, to be so much more. More in who we are. More in how we act. More in what we dream. More in how we love. Let us become the more that you intended in your divine image. Amen.

*Hymn of Response
“Make Me a Channel of Your Peace” TFWS 2171
*The Apostle’s Creed
I believe in God the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord:
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried. The third day he arose from the dead, he ascended into heaven, and sitteth at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.
