*Call to Worship
One: Happy are those whose delight is in the law of God.
All: With a welcome heart, we shine.
One: On God’s law they meditate day and night.
All: With a joyful heart, we sing.
One: They are like trees planted by streams of water.
All: With a happy heart, we laugh.
One: They yield fruit in its season.
All: With a loving heart, we grow.
One: God watches over the righteous.
All: With a dancing heart, we delight.
God, our source of light and life, you lead the way to courage, to kindness, to generosity, and to love. You call us to be your people and to live in community with one another, always moving to our place of wholeness in you. Help us to receive your love with open hearts, so that we may become attuned to your will and way. Amen.

Response to the Word
The Apostle’s Creed
I believe in God the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ his only Son our Lord:
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried. The third day he arose from the dead, he ascended into heaven, and sitteth at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.

*The Lord’s Prayer
Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, for thine is the kingdom, and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
