Serving In Worship

Liturgist:

leads the call to worship, prayers and reads scripture during worship. This person needs to be 12 years old or older.

Usher:

comes forward to receive the offering plates and collect the morning offering. This person needs to be 12 years old or older.

Acolytes:

brings in the light and lights the candles at the beginning of worship. At the end of worship, he or she puts out the candles and leaves with the pastor, carrying the light into the world. This person needs to be 5-12 years old.

Flowers:

individuals or families provide two arrangements for the sanctuary. Flowers can be picked and arranged from gardens and yards or purchased at a florist. Sign up to provide flowers on the calendar in the hallway going toward the fellowship hall.

These worship leaders serve on a rotating basis. To be part of the ministry, just email office@enonumc.org and say you’d like more information or to take part. You’ll be added to the rotation and training will be offered so you feel comfortable
